Guilt

Butter-colored, orange-tinged
tulips at park’s edge.
Slanted, the wind
gently nudges
their gaze from the sky.
Mute mouths
opening further as day’s
new warmth triumphs.
Yellow-tongued, silent song.
Spring is here.
Your depression should be gone.
